TPMM Open-Day event at BiesSse

The second BiesSse Open House, that took place in Sedriano on November 29 and 30, was focused on innovation and technology. Customers, stakeholders and media came from all over the world to see with your own eyes the benefits of the TPMM (Tape and Plate Mounting Machine), our unique and innovative machine able to take the pre-press process to the maximum efficiency.

After a brief overview of the BiesSse group and its different offered integrated solutions, the participants had the opportunity to visit the BiesSse Tape production plant, passing through all the various stages of the adhesive tapes manufacturing process – starting from where the raw materials are received right through the coating and cutting departments and also the packaging warehouse where the products are prepared for shipping.

The program of the two Open House days was focused above all on the great BisSse protagonist: the TPMM. Once the criticalities of the traditional mounting process were presented together with the different solutions and functionalities of the proposed solution, the participants had the possibility of seeing simulations of tape and plate automatic mounting operations conducted on the TPMM (mounting on different-sized sleeves, application of different-length adhesive tapes, wrong/inverted  positioning of the photopolymer). All the visitors were impressed by the great innovative potential of our machine, completely designed and built in-house by our engineers, by the highly automated and high-precision during mounting, reduced cycle time, and the process flexibility and repeatability.

In line with the expectations of this particular post-crisis period, that requires short payback periods; BiesSse presented also a case history to show easily the method of calculating the TPMM payback period according to volumes and type of material to print. BiesSse has developed a simulation program where it is possible to fill actual data pertaining a company, in order to make a specific calculation.
